  Synopsis

Secret War: The Odyssey of the Suffield Volunteers.

During the Second World War the Canadian Army conducted experiments on its own soldiers--volunteers--that would have been called 'war crimes' had they been done to prisoners of war. Many of the men suffered after-effects in the decades following the war, but could get no help from their government who denied they had even been at the experimental test station in Suffield, Alberta. This is the story of four of those men.
