Using interviews with Canadian government officials, the Canadian
diplomats who sheltered them, the Americans themselves and Jean
Pelletier, the Washington correspondent for La Presse who broke
the story, plus maps and super-8 film taken by Iranian students
during and after the embassy take-over, "Escape from Iran"
pieces together the details of the Americans’ escape, where they
went, who looked after them and their actual flight from the country.
