CANAMEDIA TAKES ON TWO GETTY IMAGES LINES

Toronto’s Canamedia Inc, Canada’s oldest indy prodco and distribution company has taken on distribution of the Getty Images Wire Image video library in to Canada. This star studded HD library, which is updated daily, carries both celebrity and red carpet footage and is available by electronic delivery.

Company President Les Harris also announced Canamedia has renewed its distribution agreement for the PUMP AUDIO music library in Canada . Pump Audio’s catalogue of indy bands’ music is the world’s foremost music delivery system for broadcasters and producers and was acquired by Getty last year.

Lee Harris at Canamedia, who built up the Pump Audio business in Canada , remains in charge of licensing both libraries.
