OCT 2005 -
MIPCOM 2005
REPORT
Presenting our
largest and most
diverse roster of
titles yet,
Canamedia enjoyed a
productive and
successful MIPCOM
2005, meeting with
buyers every half
hour for the
duration of the
market. Buyer
attendance was up,
broadcasters were
acquiring new
programs with
enthusiasm and many
deals were set in
motion over the
course of the 4-day
market.
New deals inked
since MIPCOM 2005
include:
-
Driving TV – 13 x
30’ lifestyle series
sold to Hong
Kong
-
Skier’s World – 13 x
30’ sports/travel
series sold to Israel
-
Women’s Wellness –

lifestyle series

Israel
-

At the market,
Canamedia has inked
deals with Ten
Francs and
Tele-Image for the
distribution rights
of their catalogue
to Canadian
broadcasters. Please
see our Agency
Catalogue for a
complete list of
programs available.
Canamedia also
capitalized on the
market to meet with
several
International
Producers and
Distributors in
order to acquire
additional titles
for our
ever-expanding
catalogue. We are
also focusing on
developing more
original series and
documentaries in
conjunction with our
Producers, and look
forward to inking
many new commissions
and pre-buys with
broadcasters in
2006. Projects in
development include
VINTAGE
ADVENTURE and PRINCESS TEANA’S DOLL’S TEA
PARTY.
