APRIL 2006 - MIPTV 2006 REPORT

Presenting our largest and most diverse roster of titles yet, Canamedia enjoyed a productive and successful MIPTV 2006, meeting with buyers every half hour for the duration of the market. Buyer attendance was up, broadcasters were acquiring new programs with enthusiasm and many deals were set in motion over the course of the 4-day market.

New deals inked since MIPTV 2006 include:

Drop In (13 x 30’) Foxtel Australia

Drop In (13 x 30’) Extreme International UK

Cosmetic Innovations (13 x 30’) & Design U (13 x 30’) TVB Hong Kong

Dr Teller’s Very Large Bomb (1 x 60’) Proi Communications Spain

Canamedia also capitalized on the market to meet with several International Producers and Distributors in order to acquire additional titles for our ever-expanding catalogue. We are also focusing on developing more original series and documentaries in conjunction with our Producers, and look forward to inking many new commissions and pre-buys with broadcasters in 2006/2007. Projects in development include VINTAGE ADVENTURE, PRINCESS TEANA’S DOLL’S TEA PARTY, PIXEL PINKIE and WHAT’S SEXY.
